Well, to start, take out the mattress liner, so the kids cannot use it as a ladder. Then make SURE all the sides of the crib are fully raised to the highest point. Also, make sure the mattress is set on the lowest level. These new mothers of the “millennial” generation don’t/won’t do what has to be done to keep the babies in their cribs. They take the attitude of “kids will be kids”, and the babies don’t learn that nighttime discipline is a MUST for proper growth and sleep. But, I am a Baby Boomer with years of experience with keeping baby/babies in their crib, and “I don’t know anything”. Get it?
